The 2026 Festival week starts on Saturday, 18 July and runs through to Sunday, 26 July. We can’t wait and, as ever, it’ll be a busy week with something for everyone. Head to the 2026 Events page to find out where and when your favourite event is happening.

Year after year, our Festival continues to grow and it’s all thanks to you, the amazing people of Musselburgh, Wallyford, and Whitecraig. Your energy, enthusiasm, and support always make Festival Week truly special and 2025 was no exception.
Last year, the sunshine was on our side, and you came out in your thousands to celebrate. From the Fancy Dress Parade to the River Crossing and Beach Gallop, your cheers and costumes lit up the town.
You joined us for football, cycling, swimming and rugby. You quizzed, karaoke-ed, danced at the Tea Dance, sang with the Singing Kettle, hunted treasure, spotted the cuckoo, and proudly showed off your furry friends at the Dog Show.
You welcomed the Honest Lad and Lass into your schools, and your brilliant pictures and poems once again captured the spirit of the week beautifully.
We are so proud to be part of such an incredible community and so grateful for your continued support. Here’s to another unforgettable Festival Week – made possible by you. Thank you.
