GENERAL SAFETY NOTICE

While every care has been taken to ensure safety at our events, Musselburgh Festival will not be responsible for any damage or injury resulting from irresponsible acts or omissions of participants or spectators.

Spectators are asked to stand at a safe distance from vehicles and horses at all times. Please do not attempt to cross the path of vehicles or horses.

It is the responsibility of those taking part, or their legal guardians, in the case of minors, to ensure that all participants have adequate insurance cover particularly in relation to equestrian events. Riders are advised to ensure that both they and their horses are suitable and competent. Riders must wear appropriate protective clothing including approved headgear.

Musselburgh Festival reserves the right to refuse any person from participating in an event. Please follow instructions and guidance from foot and mounted marshals, as the safety of participants, spectators and horses is paramount.
