Tuesday 21 July 2026
Departure Time: 18:00 from Inveresk Industrial Estate
Mount-Up Deadline: Please be mounted and ready by 17:45
Join us for a relaxed and supportive ride designed especially for those who are still building their confidence in the saddle. This route offers a scenic and sociable experience without the pressure of keeping pace with more advanced riders.
Route Highlights:
- We’ll set off through The Mall, Bridge Street, Fisher’s Wynd, and New Street, arriving at the picturesque Fisherrow Harbour.
- From there, we’ll continue along the Promenade, through Mountjoy, Eskside West, Millhill, and Linkfield Road, before making our way along the High Street at approximately 19:00.
This ride is exclusively for less experienced riders who are not yet ready for the Monday Night Chase or Saturday Ride. It’s a chance to enjoy the atmosphere without the challenge of larger horses or faster paces.
🚫 Please note: Riders who have already completed the Monday Night Chase or are considered more advanced will not be permitted on this ride. This is to ensure a calm and encouraging environment for all participants.
Safety Information
All riders must be accompanied by a responsible adult walking alongside or leading the pony and no more than two adults can accompany each child.

While this is a walk only ride, riders must still be able to keep up with the pace set by the Crusaders’ Club Captain and Chief Marshal.
There will be a number of foot marshals whose role it is to ensure the safety of all those taking part.
Riders must be appropriately dressed and approved protective headgear must be worn.
